My first time having Vietnamese food (in San Antonio), and -- as an Htown girl who has all sorts of Vietnamese fare options -- I gotta say this experience exceeded my expectations. I got the chicken banh mi -- amazing lemongrass flavor and wonderful crunch to the greens. My colleague got pho, perfect for the rainy day we dropped in. The place was really busy during lunch, so plan on waiting for a table.

Been here several times and the food is always outstanding. I always liked rank a restaurant by their bathrooms. And surprisingly cleanliness second to how hot the water gets on the faucet. I will tell you that it was instantly too hot to use and it made me smile and confirms this as one of the top restaurants in its cuisine. The services is standard and you can expect friendly and fast service. A must try if you are in the area.

Every time I have gone I have had subpar service. The atmosphere is a nice relaxing vibe, but either we get sat and have to wait upwards of 10-15 minutes for drink orders. Just to receive the incorrect drink, or food comes out super super late. I'm talking 30-40 with nobody in the restaurant. Overall I feel like the service could absolutely be better, however I did rate this place 5 stars for one specific reason. The pho here is absolutely incredible. It is so good you can skip most of the toppings and still have an amazing meal. Overall that really makes up for the lack of service.

The pho is really good and I also enjoyed the vermicelli. I thought the broth in the pho was very flavorful and the meat in the vermicelli was seasoned well. I thought the banh mi was just alright. I think they just didn't put as much pate and aioli as I'm used to. They were really popular and busy when I went with a group of 4 but there was only a slight wait.

Had a notion for Vietnamese food and so we found Pho Kim Long and decided to give it a shot. I am VERY glad that we did! The Banh Mi (grilled pork) was outstanding. Great flavor and ingredients and very tasty bread, which can make or break a banh mi. The Vermicelli (bun) was exceptional as well. Great flavors, fresh ingredients. It really hit the spot. The ambiance is laid back and the service was very good. I highly recommend Pho Kim Long if you are looking for some great food

Finally got to visit Pho Kim Long! The inside was exactly how I expected it to be. The chairs were super flimsy, I was scared I was going to fall. They were very patient as we were indecisive of what we wanted. Their vermicelli bowls are super filling and flavorful. I also had their curry chicken, I would not get again, but I would go back to try other items on their menu.

Our go to pho place in town! Yes, there are many others .But no one beats the broth and meat selection at pho Kim long. In comparison to other places the chicken in the pho actually has flavor and is not dry or skimpy with the portion.I want to try so much more on the menu but always stick with their amazing pho and Vietnamese fried spring rolls. They give plenty of the pho toppings which is always a plus.

Food is delicious and comes out very quick but they definitely need a seating method for organizational purposes. There was a heavy lunch rush and people were being sat out of order. There were even 2 couples that didn't know each other who were sat in a booth together. They seemed so uncomfortable. Come with patience. The food is still great!
